For many people, this was a new experience so the key to the Business Summit was ensuring it was accessible and easy to navigate. Participants could easily browse valuable content, use video chat tools to network with exhibitors and each other and choose to attend their preferred seminar sessions.

The virtual event allowed participants to join from any location via desktop, mobile or another device, ensuring they could engage with us whilst on the move. And, on top of this, if participants missed anything, they can catch up any time via our on-demand option.

How does it work?

Once participants log in to the event, they are taken to an interactive timeline that functions as a launchpad guiding them to various sections of the event providing easy access the Exhibition, Seminars and Networking.

With exhibitors located across the virtual exhibition, delegates can easily navigate, filter and favourite the listings. The Tees Valley Business Summit virtual exhibition work just like a regular event – you can meet with stand personnel, schedule meetings, chat through text, audio and live video calls, engage through social media and even, ‘take away’ literature from each stand.

Participants can watch and participate within the seminar sessions, which as always, will feature a host of leading speakers from across the Tees Valley business community. Participants can ask questions of the presenters, take part in any polls and watch sessions at a later stage if they missed them using the on-demand facility. Speakers can connect with attendees through rich interactive tools such as audio/video/text chat, polls, webinars, and videos in an immersive environment to get the conversation going.

Dedicated areas will ensure participants can communicate with key partners, sponsors, delegates and exhibitors via text, audio and video, ensuring a maximised event experience and direct engagement with the people shaping the future of the Tees Valley business landscape.
